Annie Sloan was Here!
We recently had the incredible honor of welcoming Annie Sloan, the visionary behind Chalk Paint®, to Signature Finishes. Getting to meet the legend herself for my customers was a dream come true—and she didn't disappoint. Annie graciously signed many books as she impressively authored 27 to date! She opened up about her creative journey, her passion for art, and the magic behind her revolutionary Chalk Paint® formula that has transformed furniture finishing worldwide. She even shared glimpses of her personal sketchbook and projects, giving us an inside look at her creative mind behind the movement. It was the kind of experience that reminds us why we fell in love with painting in the first place.
Annie enjoyed her visit to Maine just as much as we enjoyed her. She took in the beauty of the area and experienced her first Maine lobster as well! She even promised to return back again next year after the Country Living Fair in Rhinebeck, NY. I would encourage anyone to plan a road trip to the CLF. It is so well put together and the shopping is the best! So many great fall activities to explore in New England and beyond..
We are already making plans for Annie's visit next year and we are happily taking her up on her offer to teach a workshop. Stay tuned to hear more details about her return to Signature Finishes!
In the meantime you are welcome to join me for one of many Chalk Paint® workshops on the calendar or give us a call to book a private class for you or a group of your friends.
