If you have a love of texture and patina this class is for you. Join us with instructor Maureen Bane, who has been hand picked by Annie Sloan as a Star Painter and Global Technical Advisor for Annie Sloan Interiors. Maureen will share her love of Faux Finishing tips and tricks of the trade. The finishes taught in class bode well for both wall and furniture applications. Projects may vary due to time constraints and/or product availablity. Finishes offered will be to create a raised stencil image for an Old World textural effect with multiple layering techniques for added patina. You will learn to replicate a malachite or marble finish with Polished Plaster® and Chalk Paint®. A beautiful embellishment to any project enhancement. You will create a Verre Eglomise, a reverse gilded painting with frame. We will use the Annie Sloan Chalk Paint®, metallic paints, gilding size and metal leaf, decoupage medium, as well as polished plaster and crackle techniques. All projects will be sealed with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Waxes® to replicate an antique finish. You will have multiple color choices and design options so no two projects will look alike!
